Janet E. Kübler, Ph.D. is a marine biologist focussed on the effects of changing climate on seaweeds. Her work is inherently multidisciplinary, including aspects of ecology, photosynthetic physiology, population biology and oceanography. Currently, the main theme of her work is ocean acidification and predicting the implications of climate change. She is interested in the role of oceans in human health, and in biologically inspired design of environmentally sustainable technologies.
