Brief Biography
Natalie Flores holds a Masters of Education degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her experience and research are focused in developing diverse and equitable policy measures and practices which support quality early childhood education and care for all. Natalie also holds a declared specialization in Teacher Education, and is passionate about supporting teachers of all levels in the field. She has developed specialized knowledge in early childhood assessment systems and practices, which she has been steadily applying to her work at the city and state agency level for 6 years.
For over a decade, Natalie has worked as a teacher in classrooms serving young children from infant/toddler care to second grade, as well as worked closely in coaching and supervising teachers to enhance their practices within the classroom, and at the graduate level. Natalie hopes to continue to drive sustainable policy change through equity focused, research based frameworks.
