Brief Biography
A proud Valley boy, I was born in sunny Southern California and raised in the Beautiful San Fernando Valley. Beyond teaching in the Communication Studies Department, I co-facilitate Bridges: A Teaching Excellence program and I direct our speech and debate team here at CSUN, which is open to all students with no experience needed. My research interests are gender and popular culture, political rhetoric, public argument, and why the Dodgers can't get a usable bullpen.
