Ali Al-Sharadqah is an associate professor of statistics in the Department of Mathematics at California State University (CSUN) since 2016. Prior to that, he spent three years as an assistant professor of statistics at East Carolina University and two years as a visiting assistant professor at the University of Mississippi. Ali received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2011. His research includes statistics, optimization, computer vision, image processing, and signal processing.
