Aline Avanessian

Brief Biography
Aline Avanessian received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering and her M.S. in Materials Engineering. She was involved in research projects such as Electrochemical and Theoretical Investigation on Corrosion Inhibition of Ferrous and Non-ferrous Alloys Using Bio- based Vapor Phase Corrosion Inhibitors, and Improving the Durability of Packaging Materials Using VPCI. She is experienced in materials characterization, metallography, test procedures, and electrochemical corrosion testing and analysis. She is the materials science consultant at the CSUN HPV team, and an active member of the ASM International SFV Chapter.
