Brief Biography
Amanda is a third-year PhD student in the Higher Education and Organizational Change program at UCLA. Her previous research experience has focused on bridging Chicana feminista epistemologies and higher education research by exploring graduate school pathways for Latine students through a racialized and gendered lens. Her dissertation will focus on exploring the role of Hispanic Serving Community Colleges and Ethnic Studies coursework in promoting and advancing the Chicana/ Latina graduate educational pipeline.
