Brief Biography
As I proud CSUN alum, who earned a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development, I have taken the incredibly valuable learning experiences of my time here with me, as I moved forward in my educational and career journey. After graduating from CSUN, I went on to UC Davis to earn my M.A. in Education and a multiple subject teaching credential. After about a decade into my teaching, I earned my EdD in Educational Leadership, with a focus on culturally relevant pedagogy, from USC.
It is via the compilation of my research interests and lived experiences (i.e., academic and career journeys) that have truly set me on this path and has allowed me to come back to CSUN as a lecturer.
