Brief Biography
Brian Castronovo is currently serving his fourth term as chair of the MCLL department. He received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and specializes in Hispanic Linguistics. He co-authored Estructura lingüística del español y el inglés with Professor Carmelo Gariano and published several articles in journals such as Hispania, Hispanic Linguistics, and Dicenda. He has also served as president of the CSU's Foreign Language Council.
