Brooke Newman
Lecturer
Faculty - Child and Adolescent Development
Brief Biography
Hi Everyone, my name is Brooke Newman. I am extremely passionate about child development, educating parents and teaching the future teachers of tomorrow. I have worked with young children for over ten years from ages infants to school aged. I earned both my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and my Bachelor’s degree in Child Development & Family Studies from California State University, Long Beach. In addition to my hands-on work with young children, I have discovered a strong passion for teaching college students. I have had the privilege of serving as a lecturer in Child Development at California State University, Long Beach, Long Beach City College, and Orange Coast College. I am excited to be teaching here at CSUN. When I am not teaching, I enjoy working out and spending time with my family and friends. Teaching is my passion, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences with others. I look forward to inspiring and supporting future educators as they embark on their journey in the field of child development!
