Brief Biography
Christopher Ng is the managing partner of Gibbs Giden LLP, with offices in Los Angeles, Westlake Village, Irvine, San Jose, and Las Vegas. Gibbs Giden is nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the country's preeminent law firms for construction and real estate law, and recognized by Los Angeles Business Journal as one of LA's Top 25 Law Firms to Work For and Most Admired Law Firms.
Chris is a member of the State Bar of California, Texas, and District of Columbia and has been named a “Rising Star” and “Superlawyer” by Los Angeles Magazine and Super Lawyers® (Thomson/Reuters) regularly since 2009 (including again in 2022).
Since 2005, Chris has taught various undergraduate, graduate and law school courses at various universities in Southern California. Chris is also a frequent speaker and educator on construction law for organizations including the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law (ABA) and since 2015, Chris has served on the ABA Forum’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of the vital role diversity plays in the industry.
Chris primarily represents developers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals in connection with all aspects of private and public construction projects, from contract negotiation to enforcing and defending claims. Chris also regularly assists manufacturers, distributors and retailers with a vast array of business and commercial law issues.
