Brief Biography
Dr. David Daniel Bogumil holds faculty positions at CSUN in the Department of Public Sector Management & the Department of Sociology (SOC). Dr. Bogumil has conducted research in the US: NY, FL, IN, IL, OH, AZ, & CA, & internationally with colleagues in Koln, GE. Dr. Bogumil’s experience includes numerous multi-year & multi-million dollar National Institutes of Health grants including the cities of Tampa, Chicago, Indianapolis, Phoenix, & Los Angeles.
Dr. Bogumil is a three-time National Institute Fellow-Kirschstein National Research Service Award Recipient (i.e., 2 awards per institution: Yale, Harvard, Columbia, & UCLA). Dr. Bogumil has served on the faculty of Purdue University in DEPTS of Child Development & Family Studies (CDFS), Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) & Sociology (NIH/NIDA), Arizona State: Department of Psychology & Prevention Intervention Research Center (NIH/NIDA) & UCLA: School of Public Policy & Social Research & Department of SOC (NIH/NIMH).
Dr. Bogumil has 25+ years in Quantitative & Qualitative Evaluation & Research: Public/Health Policy; Substance Abuse; Infectious Disease; CBOs; Vulnerable Populations (VP); & INTL Relations: Conflict & Dispute Resolution MGT; & Peace & Justice: Law & Society; & CDFS; MFT; Organizational Theory & Analysis.
Dr. Bogumil’s research appears in numerous peer-reviewed conference papers and publications.
Dr Bogumil and colleagues’ research includes At-Risk VP interventions: Chronic Disease: HIV/AIDS, Diabetes & Hepatitis.
