As one of the original founding members of the Department of Child and Adolescent Development, one of my consistent priorities has been expanding students’ exposure to evidence-based practices encompassing developmental processes of children, adolescents, and young adults. As a multiracial (Black/White) faculty member, as well as being the first in my family to earn a doctorate, I am highly committed to creating viable pathways for undergraduate students to pursue advanced degrees.
