Desiree Duong was born, raised, and forever rooted in Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Deaf Studies: ASL literature at Cal State University, Northridge in 2014. She has been teaching at CSUN since 2016. She enjoys teaching American Sign Language (ASL) 1 & 2 courses and watching her students bloom! Now she is currently pursuing to acquire her Masters in Sign Language Education at Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. During her free time, she enjoys hiking and backpacking in order to disconnect from the reality. Lastly, her favorite drink is a matcha latte.
