Brief Biography
Elaine graduated with a B.A. from Cornell University in Semitic Languages and Literature, and then did a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Studies at U.C. Berkeley. She has taught at CSU, Northridge since 1998 in Religious Studies, History, and the Jewish Studies Program. Her interests are Jewish History and Law in the Bible.
