Brief Biography
I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Child and Adolescent Development from CSUN, then went on to earn a Master of Social Work from CSUF. I am honored to be a faculty member in the department that offered me an incredible education and mentorship, paving my way to a successful career. In addition to teaching, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I work in private practice as a cognitive behavioral therapist, specializing in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders in children and adolescents. In 2016, I was awarded the Distinguished Young Alumnus Award by CSUN's Child and Adolescent Development Department faculty. I am a professional member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and the TLC Foundation for BFRBs (Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors).
