Brief Biography
Eric Edson, screenwriter, professor, and author has written feature screenplays on assignment for Columbia, Disney, Warner Bros., Showtime, TNT and others, as well as for episodic television. Eric is Emeritus Professor of the Graduate Screenwriting Program at Cal State University, Northridge, and has lectured extensively through the UCLA Extension Writers' Program. Eric Edson's book _THE STORY SOLUTION: 23 Actions All Great Heroes Must Take_ reveals a new paradigm for creating interconnecting, emotion-filled screenplay stories the author calls “Hero Goal Sequences.” Professor Edson's YouTube lecture "Learning Screenplay Story Structure," has surpassed one million views.
