Brief Biography
Eric Edson has written feature screenplays on assignment for such companies as Sony/Columbia, Disney, Warner Bros., Showtime, TNT and others, and also he has written for episodic television. Eric is Professor Emeritus of the Graduate Screenwriting Program at Cal State University, Northridge and has taught in the UCLA Extension Writers' Program. Eric Edson's book _THE STORY SOLUTION: 23 Actions All Great Heroes Must Take_ presents a new paradigm for building interconnnecting, emotion-filled screenplay plots. Professor Edson's YouTube lecture, "Learning Screenplay Story Structure," has surpassed one million views.
