Professor Kazanchyan is a Loss Control and Prevention Specialist with the Risk Management Branch of the L.A. County Chief Executive Office. With a BS and MS in EOH from CSUN, he is a Certified Professional in Food Safety and a Registered Environmental Health Specialist. He has taught culinary sanitation and food safety courses at College of the Canyons and El Camino College. His articles and interviews have appeared in an eclectic mix of publications including the Journal of Environmental Health, the Los Angeles Times, and The New Yorker Magazine. Kazanchyan has assisted in the development of various food safety training modules and public information resources across the country. He is occasionally retained as an expert witness by various law firms across the United States, opining in the arenas of public health, food safety, risk management, retail food compliance, consumer protection and it's entailed duties of care or liabilities. He teaches EOH 101 and EOH 353.
