Brief Biography
Heather joined CSUN in the Fall of 2016 as a part-time Finance & Economics professor. She attended the University of Alabama where she completed a B.S. in Financial Analysis and later completed an Executive M.B.A. from the Manderson Business School.
Heather is the Founder and Owner of Castle Wealth Advisors, LLC. Where she provides financial planning and investment management services to clients. Her professional credentials range from a 17-year career as a Wealth Manager and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) to Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®). In addition to licenses, Heather is a current Chartered Financial Analyst™ candidate.
Heather is an officer of the Junior League of Los Angeles, serving as Treasurer and sits on the Board of Directors. Her League highlights include three terms on the Management Council, including two as Operations VP during which she oversaw the $240K on-time and on-budget restoration of Rainey House. As the 2019 ODI Scholarship Recipient, Heather received AJLI’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training. In addition to having served 3 years on FEC (Financial Evaluation Committee), was a participant in JLLA’s inaugural 10-Day Racial Equity Challenge.
When not working or volunteering Heather enjoys cycling on her road bike, being a certified scuba diver, traveling with her family and spending time with Rembrandt (her smooth collie).
