Hillary Miller's book, "Drop Dead: Performance in Crisis, 1970s New York" (Northwestern University Press, 2016), focuses on the cash-starved performing arts during fiscal crisis. Courses taught at CSUN include Histories of Race & Ethnicity on the U.S. Stage, Contemporary Theatre, and Theatre of Latin America.
