Hsin-hui Chiu

Brief Biography
Dr. Chiu holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Georgia State University. She also received a M.A. in Economics from Georgia State University and B.S. from National Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Chiu joined the Department in 2011 and currently teaches in the area of managerial finance. Prior to joining CSUN, she was a faculty member at Chapman University. Dr. Chiu’s research focuses on roles that entrepreneurs and venture capitalists play in the process of raising equity and their exit strategies, and span the area of security offerings, venture capital, and executive compensation. Dr. Chiu is an active participant in both national and international conferences and has published in the Review of Financial Studies, Financial Management, and Review of Finance.
