Brief Biography
Professor Martin Jarmick is a visual-sonic artist who completed his PhD in Digital Art and Experimental Media at the University of Washington in Seattle. His research and practice is focused on interactive and immersive media as expanded forms of cinema. His projects are driven by a fascination with poetry and technology, and he often works collaboratively with choreographers, filmmakers, performers, and engineers. He has exhibited projects internationally including Taiwan, Australia, the UK, Brazil, Greece, the Netherlands, and across the United States.
