Jeff Pollock is a full-time lecturer of ASL and interpreting. Jeff has taught ASL and interpreting at several colleges and universities since 1995. A Certified Deaf Interpreter, he is passionate about issues of access, equity, and social justice. As a privileged, straight, white male, he continues to learn and grow as an ally to marginalized and underrepresented communities and shares this passion with his students. Jeff has been a member of the U.S. Deaf Snowboard Team, competing in the quadrennial Deaflympics since 1999, and has also served as coach of the team in 2015 & 2019. When he's not in the classroom, he enjoys snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, mountain biking, whitewater SUPing, and all other outdoor sports. His three kids share his passion for outdoor adventures and are growing up too damn fast.
