Brief Biography

Jeffrey Lengyel is a versatile entertainment professional with 35 years of experience in film, television, web content, and media strategy, including development, production, and directing. He has worked on feature films, scripted comedy, drama, action, documentary, and non-fiction projects, often in roles such as development executive, producer, director, and writer. His notable works include original indie features, action films, and television pilots, with collaborations involving major studios like MGM, Warner Bros., Lionsgate, and ABC. He has directed and produced comedy pilots, series, and web content, some of which entered festivals like Cannes. Lengyel also has extensive experience in digital media, serving as executive producer and director for web series and viral content, including projects for Endemol and Martini Digital. He has taught directing and production at California State University Northridge, USC, and the New York Film Academy. His background includes work in documentary and reality TV for National Geographic, A&E, and Fox, along with strategic media consulting for public policy campaigns. His education includes an MFA from AFI, graduate studies at Stanford, and a BA from UC Berkeley.
