Brief Biography
Joong-won Lee, Ph.D., is a full professor in the Department of Recreation and Tourism Management. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Utah, specializing in Tourism and Hospitality. Dr. Lee is dedicated to educating both graduate and undergraduate students, imparting valuable knowledge and skills in the field. His research focuses on critical areas such as service quality, real estate, accounting, educational travel, sustainable tourism development, and senior tourism. As a founding member of an international educators’ association, he is deeply committed to advancing the profession. Furthermore, Dr. Lee plays an active role on a diverse committee on campus, contributing to a range of important initiatives.
