Brief Biography
Dr. Kaitlin O. Bahr is a Professor in the Public Health program within the Department of Health Sciences at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She earned her Ph.D. and M.P.H in epidemiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Bahr’s research interests focus in epidemiology and public health, with a particular concentration in disaster preparedness and infectious diseases. She has worked on past projects assessing disaster preparedness in vulnerable populations, interorganizational collaboration in disaster preparedness, the epidemiologic capacity of health departments, and attitudes and barriers towards vaccination among university students. She has also taken part in research collaborations across several disciplines, including nutrition and health administration.
