Brief Biography
Assistant Professor Kate Powers is a Peabody Award-winning and WGA Award-nominated television writer. She started her career as a writer's intern on the first season of Mad Men, followed by three years as assisting the Breaking Bad writers’ room, as well as stints at The Good Wife, UnReal, and Red Widow, among others. She has written for SundanceTV's Rectify and Amazon's Absentia, most recently serving as Co-Producer on a half-hour drama in development at AMC.
