Brief Biography
KyungMo Han earned his Ph.D. in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Brigham Young University, and he is the Program Director of the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT). This program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). He is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Dr. Han joined the faculty at California State University in August 2001 and prior to his current position, he served as Director of Athletic Training Program at San José State University for 16 years (2006-2022) where he was tenured and promoted to full professor, and Cal State Dominguez Hills for 5 years (2001-2006).
Dr. Han is serving as an ATC for the ITA Northwest Regional Championships for a 15th year. Previously, he served as the sports medicine team captain of the City of Seoul team for the 97th 2016 National Sports Festival, the head athletic trainer for the 14th 2002 Asian Games in Judo, and a member of the sports medicine team for the 1999 and 2000 ISU World Cup Short Track Speed Skating. He also served as a BOC Examiner and BOC Exam Cut Score Panelist.
