Brief Biography
I am currently Chair of Biology and have been a Professor of Biology at California State University Northridge for 35 years. I have authored (mostly with my students) and edited some 64 peer-reviewed publications on the biogeography and ecology of marine fishes of the Pacific coast of North America including the book, “The Ecology of Marine Fishes: California and Adjacent Waters” published in 2006 by UC Press.
