Brief Biography
My primary research interests are in sociology of education, social inequality, politics, the media, and public policy. My research examines how the conservative movement in America has used think tanks, the media, and policy planning organizations to influence education policy debates. I am currently the Graduate Coordinator for the M.A. Program in Sociology and Faculty Advisor for the Alpha Kappa Delta Sociology Honor Society.
