Brief Biography
Dr. Loraine Lundquist is a physicist, educator, and activist. Her research has ranged from solar magnetic activity to science education. Prior to coming to CSUN, she was an astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and served as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow for the National Research Council. On campus, she is an active member of the Green Core sustainability team. She also enjoys biking, parenting, and promoting carbon-fee-and-dividend legislation.
