Brief Biography
Dr. Henderson is a Professor of Art Education at California State University, Northridge teaching PreK-12 pre-service teachers, single-subject credential students and graduates in Art Education, as well as general education. Henderson also works extensively in the areas of curriculum and assessment with the Art department, MCCAMC college, and university. Research interests include interdisciplinary curriculum, multi-and cross-cultural topics in art education; collaborative projects in Science and Art. Henderson is an exhibiting artist in painting and drawing, with a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (1986), and MFA from the University of Minnesota (1989). Exhibitions include national and international venues within the U.S. and the U.K.
