My name is Mané Dovlatyan and I joined the CSUN faculty as a part-time lecturer in August of 2021. I am currently teaching in the Department of Child and Adolescent Development and the Department of Educational Psychology & Counseling. I grew up in Los Angeles and attended K-12 schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. My experiences as a student greatly influenced my interest in becoming an educator. I discovered my love for teaching very young when I began volunteering at my elementary school as a teacher’s assistant. The experiences I had during those years lead me to pursue a degree in elementary education. I earned both my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies and my Master's Degree in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education at CSUN. As a part-time lecturer, I enjoy the honor of working with future educators in early childhood and elementary education. During my free time, I enjoy reading, painting, exploring new places, and spending time with my family.
