Dr. Mark Ryan joined CSUN as a lecturer in the Eisner College of Education as of Fall, 2020. He is also a core adjunct faculty member at National University and has taught as an adjunct at California State University Dominguez Hills, California State University East Bay, Loyola Marymount University, and the University of San Francisco. He teaches courses in teacher education for both elementary and secondary teachers, counselor education, school administration, special education, and Applied Behavioral Analysis. He holds California credentials in Administrative Services, Multiple Subjects, Single Subject Physical Education, Health, English, and Introductory Mathematics, Pupil Personnel Services, Child Welfare and Attendance, Designated Subjects Special Subjects Basic Military Drill, and Education Specialist (Special Education Mild to Moderate) with an added authorization in Autism Spectrum Disorders. He currently serves as the Superintendent of the North Valley Military Institute College Preparatory Academy, a position he has held since 2014.
