Brief Biography
Michael Stern, C.A.S., is a Music Producer, Engineer and Scoring Mixer based in Los Angeles who has been working in professional recording studios around the world since 1982. He has recorded and mixed approximately 260 film scores including Iron Man 2, Sex And The City 1 and 2, Dumb And Dumber To, August-Osage County, The Notebook, Hustle, and Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. Michael has worked at every Los Angeles scoring stage as well as Abbey Road Studios in London.
Also involved in TV and Record Productions, he’s worked on dozens of TV shows and Records. He has written of technical articles for The A & R Registry and Film Music Magazine for two decades. He is a member of IATSE MPEG Local 700, NARAS and AFM Local 47 and The Cinema Audio Society. Actively involved in charity fundraising, he is an event producer for “The Get Together Foundation” and has raised $2 million Los Angeles charities, mostly focused on people experiencing homelessness as well as The City Of Hope Hospital and Musicares.
