Brief Biography
Nicardo McInnis' research centers on the low-income population. He utilizes quasi-experimental methods to study the effects of income disparities and how safety net programs can be used to close those gaps. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Georgia State University and a BSc in International Relations and Economics from the University of the West Indies. Currently, he is also an NIA Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Michigan Population Studies Center.
