Brief Biography
Dr. Kennedy is a graduate of UC Berkeley and UCLA. She is the department chair for EOH and serves as the academic coordinator for the EOH MS program. She is interested in occupational health and most of her research is focused on assessments of exposure to particulate matter. She has worked on grants from NIOSH and NIH and currently has a grant from NIEHS to train undergraduates seeking a career in research. In 2018, she was appointed by Governor Brown as the public member of the California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board.
