Brief Biography
I have been the Director of the Liberal Studies Program at CSUN since summer 2013 and a professor in the English department since 2000. Prior to 2000, I taught for several years at the University of Utah and at Vassar College for the English department and Women’s Studies programs. My areas of expertise include British Romanticism, the Gothic, the British Nineteenth Century, Literary and Critical Theory, Cultural Studies, Popular Culture, and Children’s and Adolescent Literature.
