Rasoul Narimani is an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Before joining CSUN, he was an assistant professor in the college of engineering and computer science at Arkansas State University where he was a recipient for Faculty Excellence Award Emerging Scholar in 2021. From 2019-2021 Dr. Narimani was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Texas A&M University where he conducted research in the area of Cyber Physical Power System. Dr. Narimani received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Missouri university of Science and Technology in 2019 where he was a recipient of the Grainger Power Engineering Award. Dr. Narimani’s research focus on developing new optimization and control algorithms to improve the efficiency of electric power systems.
