Brief Biography
I'm originally from Mexico. My educational background is in food science, and I spent four years working in the R&D department at Ocean Spray Cranberries. My research interests focus on reducing food waste through the valorization of food by‑products and on the study of fermented foods. I'm also committed to supporting first‑generation students by ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed in college.
