Brief Biography
I have a B.S in Food Engineering and a M.S in Food Science from University of Americas in Puebla, Mexico. I have a PhD program in Food Science from the University of Florida. I worked for 4 years in the R&D department at Ocean Spray Cranberries. My research interest is in fermented foods and chronic diseases. I'm also interested on providing first generation students the resources they need to succeed in college.
