Yansi Pérez of Carleton College has been selected for an ACLD Burkhardt Fellowship for the 2016-2017 academic year and has chose the Department of Central American Studies at CSU Northridge as her residential site during the fellowship. The hosting department agrees to host Dr. Pérez for the 2016-2017 academica year, provide Dr. Pérez with physical resources, including office space, library and internet access, and provide opportunities for Dr. Pérez to participate in speaker series, colloquia, workshops, and/or other department activities as available. ACLS will provide the host institution with financial support ($10,000) to cover costs in hosting the Burhardt Fellow.
