A book length monograph, “Against Forgetting: Memory, Care, and Feminist Arts across the Transpacific" argues that transpacific “communities of care” embodying principles of feminist radical care have emerged that threaten powerful systems of historical revisionism and silencing around the legacy of the Comfort Women system. This project is supported by the 2021-2022 National Endowment for the Humanities award.
