Lead Principal Investigator:

UCI and Lineage will take a holistic approach that incorporates the critical components of the cold chain: food, people, energy, infrastructure, transportation, and the environment. Studying the complex interdependencies and interactions of these sub-systems allows for correlations and cascade effects to be properly taken into account. These relationships can be exploited to inform preventative and reactionary countermeasures.
