In the application for the collaborative grants for mathematicians provided by the Simons Foundation, I propose to work in the area of Global Harmonic Analysis on Riemannian Manifolds, in collaboration with mathematicians in the US, Australia, New Zealand, and China. Supported by this grant in the next five years, I will enhance and extend my collaboration within the mathematics community, through academic visits to other institutes, participating in conferences and workshops, and initiating visitors to my institute; the mathematics outputs of these collaborations will improve our understanding of the problems arising from analysis and geometry.
