Equity-Minded Pedagogy Course

Thank you for your interest in the Equity-Minded Pedagogy course and your recruitment efforts to make this fall?s cohort successful. In the interest of understanding more about how the course can impact faculty, students, and classrooms, the Office of IDEAS at Fresno State, where the course was developed, is submitting an IRB proposal. The study aims to review the Canvas course materials and artifacts, participant contributions (i.e., course assignments), and the pre- and post-surveys course participants will complete. Whereas all course assignments, including the surveys, are required of participants to receive the $1000 stipend and officially complete the course, all course participants will have the opportunity to opt out of participating in the study. Should course participants choose to opt out of the study, their information, assignments, and surveys will not be included in the data that will be reviewed and analyzed. All identifying information such as participant names or campuses will be anonymized and/or removed prior to any analysis, publication, and/or dissemination.
