Composite made structural elements can be found in aerospace, marine and automotive applications. Previous research with novel ultrasonic inspection technique has been demonstrated on relatively simple geometry. This research aims to manufacture and inspect composite specimens with various features. To process the ultrasonic inspection data, advanced methods such as those that use machine learning may be needed.
