The DuBois Hamer Institute for Academic Achievement (DHIAA) of the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences within the California State University Northridge (CSUN) shall collaborate with LAUSD to form the CSUN-LAUSD Partnership for the Black Student Achievement Plan. DHIAA shall coordinate use of the CSUN Black House to host activities for up to 100 students from Alfred B. Nobel Charter Middle School in Northridge, California. DHIAA, under the direction of Dr. Cedric Hackett and with coordination support of Ms. Dominique Moye, Program Coordinator of The Black House, shall host events that will include: ? Opening Ceremony, two (2) sessions, on February 4, 2022 o Morning session: 10:00 am ? 12:00 noon o Afternoon session: 2:00 pm ? 4:00 pm o Each session limited to 50 attendees maximum. ? Saturday Academies, three (3) sessions, from 10:00 am ? 12:00 noon o March 5, 2022: ?College-going Cultures?, followed by campus tours o March 26, 2022: ?Self-advocacy? o April 30, 2022: ?Public Speaking? o Each academy limited to 100 attendees maximum.
