The CSUN Center for Geographical Studies (CGS) will provide services to the Division of Statewide Integrated Water Management of the Department of Water Resources (DWR) The objectives are to improve the High Resolution NHD, which will include polygonal, linear, and point features and all associated NHD attributes within mutually agreed upon priority areas at a 1:24,000 scale. The edits will meet the United States Geological Survey (USGS) NHD editing and topology standards. This work will also improve the Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD), primarily using the NHD to guide WBD updates. WBD updates will follow USGS standards and guidance.
