Perovskite Support

California State University, Northridge (CSUN) will support and supply scientific research support for this project at SRNL for the synthesis and development of perovskite nanomaterials that can be characterized by various steady state and time dependent spectroscopies. CSUN has a unique set of analytical instrumentation that can characterize the proposed perovskite materials. The analytical equipment at CSUN can characterize materials, chemicals, and samples at the nano-, meso-, and macroscale. The characterization of samples at these three length scales is made possible by understanding how they interact with different forms of the electromagnetic spectrum (from low energy radio waves to high energy x-rays). This project will utilize CSUN?s capabilities in UV-vis and fluorescence spectroscopies and x-ray diffraction (XRD) to characterize the materials.
