Prop K Maintenance Funds are requested for the upgrades of the movable floor pool area and to reimburse the Brown Center for 20% salary of the Facility Technician. Upgrades include: Replacement of hoses and hose reels Pool deck sandblasting, resurfacing and painting of doors and wall surrounding the pool area. Facility Technician- The Facility technician oversees the functional operations of the facility involving safety, maintenance and care of specialized pools. He complies with operational and training manuals for all areas of responsibility, and serves as liaison with Environmental Health and Safety Departments concerning all procedures as required by health and safety regulations. The Facility Technician is responsible for ensuring that all pool equipment and materials are setup and available for classes, develops procedures for and oversees the proper maintenance and care of all equipment, including pools, client hydraulic hoist/lifts, moveable (pool) floor, underwater treadmill, and laundry facility, implements preventative maintenance and calibration schedules for specialized equipment, conducts routine maintenance and repairs, and keeps inventory and records of all scheduled maintenance.
