The project team will work in coordination with California Water Foundation (CWF) staff and technical team (SWM Team) to complete a pilot assessment of The Sustainable Water Management Profile in the Santa Ana River Watershed region, and support CWF outreach efforts. We are tasked with the following: A. Review Version 2.0 SWM Profile content and abbreviated documents and provide comments and suggestions that could enhance or extend the capability of the program. B. Analyze feasibility of potential profile subjects in the Santa Ana River Watershed region. i. Using existing SWM materials, research and document the availability of necessary data to complete a full SWM Profile analysis of the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority, and the Inland Empire Utilities Agency. This will be an iterative analysis with frequent contact between the project team,CWF, and SWM. C. Complete SWM Profile assessment(s) in Santa Ana River Watershed region and help develop refined Version 2.1 content and documents. i. Work as part of the SWM Team to coordinate and perform the assessment in the Santa Ana River Watershed region (likely Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority or Inland Empire Utilities Agency), including: *In coordination with CWF and the SWM Team, interact with Profile subject (water agency), obtain documents and data, and perform analysis, as described in more detail below. -Brief water agency management and staff. -Request data, assemble information from water agency staff , and coordinate with staff in its retrieval and interpretation; establish the Region of interest and Scopes of Analysis in coordination with Profile subject; and retrieve and assemble additional information about the region from .other sources including the Department of Water Resources, the California State Water Resources Control Board and Regional Board, and local entitles. -Prepare context information for the Region of Interest." -Analyze data and evaluate information to generate the level of stress and management response scores for some stressors, or review analysis provided by other SWM Team members." * Work with the SWM Team to report on the results of the assessment using the program deliverables (Rating Report, technical documentation) described in a technical memorandum from RLF consultant Environmental Science Associates (ESA), to be delivered to the project team by RLF or ESA no later than August 31, 2015. ii. Participate with the SWM Team to use lessons learned from the Santa Ana River Watershed Pilot to refine the SWM Profile methodology and develop the Version 2.1 content and complete supporting documents for future assessments. iii. As requested by CWF, and in coordination with CWF and the SWM Team, complete up to two additional assessments, repeating the steps outlined above.
